I’m looking to get a custom drum set and looking too spend under 0. I don’t have a ton of money and please dont tell me to spend more and go to like SJC, TRUTH, SHINE, etc. because of tried that its way to expensive.

My mom bought her and my brother some baseball tickets online at a place called ticketliquidators.com. They have a policy that all tickets are good or your money back. Well my mom, my brother and I drove almost 300 miles one way to get there and made a weekend out of it. They get to the venue and the tickets had not only been reported stolen, but had been sold to 3 different sets of people, so my mom lost all of her 0 and ended up in the nosebleed section. I have the first name of the guy who sold them to ticketliquidators, and the ticketliquidators does not want to refund her money because they say it is the fault of the guy who listed it. Do we have a civil suit? If so, I’m not trying to be greedy, but would he be responsible for the cost of the new tickets, gas and hotel, since the only reason we went there was for the game? Or do we not have a case at all?
I know who he is and where he works because I called ticket liquidators and told them I really wanted to thank him and they actually gave me his number. He works 2 blocks from the stadium and I called him and told him we wanted a refund. He called my mom to come to his office and said he would refund her, but it was like 9 pm in downtown Houston and she didn’t feel comfortable meeting him, so instead she told him to meet her at guest resolutions and he never showed, but he was dumb enough to give me the name of his office and street address, and my mom actually has his last name, I just asked her and she said she knows his full name.

Will someone please tell this guy before he sells this ball for 0,000 that the IRS cannot tax him on the value of the ball, as the ball is not money, the fan has not received any money for it, and the ball is worth nothing UNLESS the fan actually does indeed sell it. If the IRS thinks it can do such a thing, I doubt it would take much effort for this guy to find an attorney or several who will take his case and successfully argue that he has received no income in relation to owning this baseball. He is being dupped into selling it for a fraction of what it will be worth 5 or 10 years from now.

I really LOVE the drums and I want a set of my own. My mom says I have to buy it with my own money and i’m only willing to spend about 0. My mom won’t let my use e-bay b/c shipping costs like . So where is like a store near Flint, Port Huron, Lansing, Michigan where you can get a set for cheap? The above citys are near me but if you know of a store in a city that’s not listed but is still near by it then GREAT!!! The set doesen’t have to be new but it does need to be "play-able" Thanks a million everybody that answers!

I’m starting to save money for a new drumset because the one I got for christmas(it is a pulse drumset) came without a kick pedal(but I got one for free), no cymbals, no cymbal stands, and no snare stand. It was soooo disapointing!!so now I’m buying a double bass pedal WITH EVERYTHING because that is the kind of drumset I wanted at first, but couldn’t find one. So if you guys know where I can find one, PLEASE HELP!
By the way, I’m selling my pulse drumset so I can get more money, think of it as a donation for me. has a snare drum, 2 tom toms, one floor tom, and a kick tom(the big one in the middle)also has a kick pedal, and a hi-hat stand that idk how to use(no cymbals)its wine red w/ silver chrome rings. want it? ask me! ill send you a photo somehow.

i want to get into drumming but i was wondering what is a good drum set for genres like metal, horror punk, or hard rock and another problem i have is money. is there anyplace,other than ebay and amazon, where i can get a decent, dirt cheap set including the cymbals.
i dont really think the set matters for the style i just want to make sure first before i buy one

Some teams that don’t have great farm systems have money, and some teams that have good farm systems don’t have alot of money. At the end of the day, you have what you have, I don’t think you should complain about what another team has because it just shows you wish your team had they’re money or farm system and you’re just jealous. Maybe your team doesnt have money because you can’t get a good attendence !

nba, that’s oaklands decision. And these are baseball players, not babies. The reason why they get signed or drafted is because they know how to play baseball at a great level already. In baseball, nothing is unfair. (Except for some of this years allstar choices lol)

I am a Red Sox Fan and I love to do make my own CD cases. Every sight I go on looking for clipart, they want money. Any suggestions?

My dad is turning 50 next month and I would like to get his old glove fixed. A while ago he had found a place in NYC that does a lot of work for the pros repairing and putting patches on their gloves from the companies that sponsor them when in fact its another companies glove. I’ve looked on here and it seems that everyone says to just get a new one UNLESS its an A2000 which happens to be the case. So you have an idea of how old it is him and his buddy collected cans and bottles until they had enough money. The glove can’t even be used anymore because it is so soft that when a ball hits it it basically just bends the glove out of the way and it keeps going. It also has a little bit of mold because it got lost in our garage. Other than the mold and how soft it is it seems to be in good condition. There are no tears or anything and only a little bit of cracking on the palm on the inside. I know that it can be made like new again so does anyone know of a place? Most of them can do it by mail so location doesn’t matter but I am in New Jersey about 45 minutes from the city. And anyone have any tips on what I should look for when I am searching th internet for a place?

Back a few years ago baseball turned their heads and didn’t care.
They knew ( had too) players were using steroids. It’s doctors orders in some cases. I have been shot with steroids and so has my daughter to aid in healing in injuries.
If hitters are using to bulk up, then don’t pitchers need to do what they can to compensate?
Sure now it’s not allowed, but back in the day nobody cared because it helped the sport make money.
What is your thought on this?

i filled out an application at a baseball game to get the free gift, and when i rec’d the cards, i put em on display in my ‘mets case". however…. 2 months later i come to find out i owe the card money…and ive been hit with late fees…
apparently, ive accepted the sports illustrated mags to come to my house(lol, i thought they were just sendin em for whatever) AND …because the card was never activated…i thought the bank of america stuff i was getting was "junk mail" ..(thrown out)…how can they do this?? i cant use the card unti i activate it…but they can bill me and activate it themselves??? what if i checked off yes to purchasing a new car? or a home? i wanna know if this is illegal? can i sue the cc co??

With all the steroids and the fact everyone is out for money, is it even fun to watch anymore? more cases than not, its always the same teams. Yankees, Red Sox, and all the other teams who actually spend money to get good players. The Richest MLB owner is not the yankees, its the royal’s, and we know how much they suck. they are doing ok, but still bad. With all the steroids and money being involved, is it fun anymore? I say no

several news reports said several unnamed Yankees where not going to be a Yankee in 2010. Understand money is a player in baseball, who pays me more,I’ll go there in most cases.

Ok, I know this sounds ridiculous but after playing rockband and getting really good on the drums, i went over to a friends house who had a drum set and found out that i can now play drums to an extent. Any ways now i want to take up drumming but i don’t have a whole lot of money. I’m looking for a 5-piece drum set under like 0 w/ fairly good quality…any ideas?

and a cheap first act mic… i hate the thing lol…the frigging lead singer had to have … its an 8 dollar mic..god how cheap can he be?

drum heads. i am replacing the drum heads but what should i do about replacing the bottoms. is it necessary. it was just the tip of the pencil so you really have to look to find the holes on the bottoms.
i bought this 5 piece drum set for a hundred dollars. for my cousin who mistreated it. if anything im doing the drums a favor by not letting them get tortured by 8, 10, and 12 year old kids anymore. im trying to fix them and i have to money to do it. im not going to by some super expensive just so i can play drums. they work and im not the most materialistic fool in the world. i just need to know if it is urgent to replace the bottom head? i didnt need some asshole to tell me to get my money back.

My son wanted a drum set that is cheap because he is willing to use his own money, we are looking for under 5. Is that possible?

I am really trying to upgrade my drum set, but im pretty low on money.
I need new heads, new cymbals, and a new pedal pretty soon.
as of now im focusing on the heads.

I am buying a -3 baseball bat on ebay. I am a first time buyer and i don’t know much about ebay. What are the possible risks on ebay. Is there a way to make sure that i am getting a reliable product.

Also in the case of baseball bats, if somebody sold me a cracked bat, is there anyway i can report it and get my money back?

Also please include general infromation about e-bay that you know.
