Captain Bubble / Marcus de Mowbray. UK (Inventor/Craftsman/Musician) Prototype of my Busker Cajon Kit. A highly compact full drum kit plus a cajon which doubles as a stool, and into which the entire kit and its rug all fit for very easy transport. The cajon has four resonant panels for a wide range of tones, the “Busker” kit has a snare drum, three toms, a bass drum (which is built into the cajon and has a rod linkage connected to the foot pedal), a ride cymbal, cymbal bell, ten inch and six inch splash cymbals and ten inch hi-hats. The hi-hats are mounted in the centre, the other 4 cymbals are in stacked pairs on either side. This video briefly demonstrates the prototype, then there are several short clips of it in use playing along to CDs of different musical styles, giving an idea of how versatile this incredibly compact drum and percussion set up is. Furthermore the “Busker” range of drums has been painstakingly designed to be considerably quieter than other drum kits, making them suitable for all acoustic sessions. The sound quality is poor, but gives some idea of how it sounds.

Here we have it! The BFD drum software, Alesis Trigger IO, and the RET Percussion Stealth kit. This is just a quick peak into what I’ve found the Virtual Percussion Technology package can do. I’m hoping to get more in depth with the functions of the BFD software, Alesis IO, and RET kit. just bought an electronic drum kit yesterday, it was nothing big, and fancy but it was only 50 bucks, but boy did i get what i payed for, watch this review of said drum kit exclusively sold at a target somewhere in the US.

TO EVERYONE SAYING THIS KIT IS FAKE!!!!!!! I bought this set used from a previous owner. The shells and wrapping are DW! The lugs had to be changed since the previous DW lugs were removed and put on another set. Therefore, these lugs were put on this set. The bass drum claws are aftermarket as well. I HAVE CHECKED WITH DW AND THIS IS A GENUINE DW DRUM SET!!! I took each stamp on the inside of each shell and sent them along with the sizes of each drum and they have confirmed that it is a DW set made in the 90’s. I hope that clears things up. This is a tour of my new 7 piece DW Collector’s Series Maple drum set. It’s finish is Slate Gray.
