I really LOVE the drums and I want a set of my own. My mom says I have to buy it with my own money and i’m only willing to spend about 0. My mom won’t let my use e-bay b/c shipping costs like . So where is like a store near Flint, Port Huron, Lansing, Michigan where you can get a set for cheap? The above citys are near me but if you know of a store in a city that’s not listed but is still near by it then GREAT!!! The set doesen’t have to be new but it does need to be "play-able" Thanks a million everybody that answers!

“King Nothing” by “Metallica” as played by hheemm in Guitar Hero Metallica on expert+ drums in career mode. Pretty easy FC, but the hi-hat to snare transition is pretty awkward. Captain Bubble / Marcus de Mowbray. UK (Inventor/Craftsman/Musician) Prototype of my Busker Cajon Kit. A highly compact full drum kit plus a cajon which doubles as a stool, and into which the entire kit and its rug all fit for very easy transport. The cajon has four resonant panels for a wide range of tones, the “Busker” kit has a snare drum, three toms, a bass drum (which is built into the cajon and has a rod linkage connected to the foot pedal), a ride cymbal, cymbal bell, ten inch and six inch splash cymbals and ten inch hi-hats. The hi-hats are mounted in the centre, the other 4 cymbals are in stacked pairs on either side. This video briefly demonstrates the prototype, then there are several short clips of it in use playing along to CDs of different musical styles, giving an idea of how versatile this incredibly compact drum and percussion set up is. Furthermore the “Busker” range of drums has been painstakingly designed to be considerably quieter than other drum kits, making them suitable for all acoustic sessions. The sound quality is poor, but gives some idea of how it sounds.

I want to find a cheap drum set for my 8 year old, preferably one that includes all the hardware… stands etc. I want to find one to fit his size, and also one that won’t break the bank since I can’t predict how long he will be interested in this. Just want an entry level type and if he sticks with it we’ll buy something better down the road. I don’t play drums and have no clue what to look for… need some help!

Song: The Pretender played on a 0 electric drumset, an ied01. People hate on these cheap drumsets but they are still capable so long as you make a few modifications. Also I’m running a DW 5000 double kick. The module settings: hitomdry, mdtomdry, lotomdry, live ride, md crash, hicrash, md stomp, room snr, wetrndm, edge hat. I put screws in most of the clamps, metal screws all the way through to keep the pads from pivoting around while I play. Im using a pad for the bass drum with a DW5000 to hit it. (bass turned all the way up). Im also running the output into a 1/4″ to USB module called M-audio by Jamlab. It comes with guitar and bass presets but you can make your own and EQ the drum channel.
