I have played a very cheap drum set for close to 3 years. I’m getting pretty good (around intermediate level) and I want to buy a new set to last me a while for if i decide to start a band and stuff. I have to save up for most of it so I am looking for something preferaby under 00. I don’t want another crappy set but like a nice birch or maple set. I play mostly metal and heavy rock but I want to be able to branch out into other styles too. Another thing. Is it better to buy a shell pack and get hardware seperately or just get a complete set. Please no links. I just need to know what to be looking at and staying away from considering how fast drum sets are going to come and go in the time it takes for me to get enough money.

When I mean "good", I just mean if it is sturdy and will not break… I can see that they are cheap drum sets, so the sound quality might not be that great.

I want a drum set that are 0 or less if you want to give me a link.

does anyone know how to get good/cheap double bass drum sets? or maybe single bass but with that thing to make it double, how much are they? i want a small big kit, if you know what i mean…. like lars ulrich from metallica

I want to get into playing the drums, and I had a few questions.

What are some of the nice but not too expensive brands of guitars, ranging from pretty expensive to pretty cheap. Are these drums reliable?

Any other information about buying certain drum sets would be helpful.

I am also wondering what size make the best sounds, when i here specs like 18×18 or 14×8 or such I’m not quite sure what it means.

ok I am constantly finding myself "air drumming" to songs that I listen to. I listen to alternative rock, almost rock-emo. I dont know how to explain it. Bands like armor for sleep, all time low, hawthorne heights, that sort of thing. I really think that I have what it takes and I think I am ready for a drumset. I am looking for a full set for 0.00 or less. I just want it to drum to myself, no lessons or anything. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Oh, and are there certain types of drum sets for certain types of music? Please help im a total nubpatty to this stuff. I would do guitar but this damn birth defected-hand is preventing me…sad face.

I live in an apartment and real drum sets are loud. I want to buy good quality but cheap electronic drum sets with DOUBLE BASS pedals. anything under 0 would be great! Any suggestions on where I can buy it?

I want to get a drum set for the first time. But I am not a beginner really. I have played off and on, on other peoples drum sets. I know that I can play the drums. Well, any kind of drums. I all ways wanted a drum set. But I never had the money tell now. Well I did three times, but something came up. I would go the Pawn Shop route. But no pawn shop where I live is allowed to take any music Instruments. I want a five peace drum set for around 0. For the set I want it has to have: 2mounted toms, 1floor tom, 1kick drum, 1snare drum, 2Cymbals and all the hardware. I want to know where on the internet to find one. I don’t want a first act set. I and other people I know have problems with other Instruments with that brand. Can anyone help me out?
