Captain Bubble / Marcus de Mowbray. UK (Inventor/Craftsman/Musician) Prototype of my Busker Cajon Kit. A highly compact full drum kit plus a cajon which doubles as a stool, and into which the entire kit and its rug all fit for very easy transport. The cajon has four resonant panels for a wide range of tones, the “Busker” kit has a snare drum, three toms, a bass drum (which is built into the cajon and has a rod linkage connected to the foot pedal), a ride cymbal, cymbal bell, ten inch and six inch splash cymbals and ten inch hi-hats. The hi-hats are mounted in the centre, the other 4 cymbals are in stacked pairs on either side. This video briefly demonstrates the prototype, then there are several short clips of it in use playing along to CDs of different musical styles, giving an idea of how versatile this incredibly compact drum and percussion set up is. Furthermore the “Busker” range of drums has been painstakingly designed to be considerably quieter than other drum kits, making them suitable for all acoustic sessions. The sound quality is poor, but gives some idea of how it sounds.

I’m a drummer in a band in college… I have a nice drum kit that I used to gig with at home but I don’t want to bring it to the city and risk having it get stolen or broken, but I need a set to play gigs here in the city with.

What’s a good drum set (I don’t mind used because it’s already beaten up) that will sound good but isn’t too expensive (like 0-0) and I can just throw around and won’t have to worry about at much? I don’t need cymbals or even hardware really.

i have been playing drums for 4 years, and i REALLY need a good drum set. I did have a drum set that lasted me a good 3 and 1/2 years, it was the famous "OSP DD502" but ALL 3 cymbals broke. So i need a good 5 to 8 piece drum set for bout 0 to 0. Where can i go?

It is an older stage custom jazz set. Aaron Gillespie had this set first, he got it from his church.(drums only) it went to two other people before i got it…

I have played drums for two years(no lessons) with a very cheap drum set and I am ready for a new one since the other is embarrasing right now. I would say if you heard me i would be close to entering the intermediate range but I have no experience with getting drums sets. I found a Pearl EXR Export set at a guitar center that has been discounted majorly to about 500$ and I have heard a lot of good things about it but I’m scared of getting another crappy beginner set that wont last long. I just have a feeling its much better than that though. I was also recommended the Mapex M Birch which I don’t think sounds as good but it is supposably higher quality. Any suggestions? Prefferably under 1000$ Cymbals are another story so it doesnt have to include them unless they are good ones for a cheap price. Thank you.

i want to get into drumming but i was wondering what is a good drum set for genres like metal, horror punk, or hard rock and another problem i have is money. is there anyplace,other than ebay and amazon, where i can get a decent, dirt cheap set including the cymbals.
i dont really think the set matters for the style i just want to make sure first before i buy one

I am new to drumming but seem to have a knak for it so im told, but what would be the best hihat cymbals for country-classic rock? And or the best cymbals altogether.

I need to find a site that sells a good yet inexpensive (not necessarily cheap) acoustic drum set. It must be a 4 or maybe even 5 piece set that includes cymbals and hardware. Oh, and it should be a beginner one. I tried Guitar Center, and most of them don’t come with cymbals or hardware.

Needs to be complete with cymbals and hardware

I’m looking into buying a cheap beginner’s drum set and I was looking on eBay. Is this a good drum set for somebody who is a beginner and not looking to spend too much money?

I am really trying to upgrade my drum set, but im pretty low on money.
I need new heads, new cymbals, and a new pedal pretty soon.
as of now im focusing on the heads.
can anyone tell me some good ones for cheap?
